I may have found a new 4.3 Volvo engine for Kelisha.
Anyone got any idea how much to fit the new one in and how easy to connect up to a 280 leg???
I can take the old one out . . . .

anyone can knock down a wall - but can you build a good 'un

not sure about the mounting points and how easy to line up on the drive - is it a plug and play from my old AQ170c???

probably could do it myself - I have got an engineering apprenticeship and an engineering degree but not got a lot of time.

Can build very good walls actually, well, supervise these days, I'm in Construction Management - when I've got a job that is.

Sorry, I assumed it was a like for like engine swap

Volvo mated the v6 to the 280. You need the bell housing and the drive plate for the v6 and it should mate to the drive no problem.
Mounts will probably need new beds glassing in. Not a major job if you've worked with grp before, its actually quite easy.
