The wind has been wrong since we left BRADWELL 9 days ago. The engine has been on for 46 hours. About 6 hours of sailing. Hey ho.

We are holed up in Gravelines at the moment. The grand plan to get up as far as Breskens gone with all these NE winds

Got as far as Nieupoort, and gave up after running the engine for far too many hours. It will likely be NW when we try to get back to Ramsgate... Ho Hum. Currently its 13 degrees and overcast.

Come on sunshine!.

we left the berth on friday, turned her into the cold north wind & went astern back into the berth head to wind, heater on . Well at least its only 1/2 way through the year, yet to get passed the Naze

Since April have been to Canvey (OK not on Karouise but to pick up a boat), Roach, Crouch, Blackwater up to Marconi, Bradwell a couple of times, Walton Backwaters, Orford twice, Breskens, Ostend & Calais and the only heater is a 240v fan heater so doesn't get used much!
