Re: I got a \'phone call from IP

There is also the mailing preference system.
www.mpsonline.org.uk (don't know how to make this clickable)
Takes about 6 weeks for junk mail to dry up
Our strategy is -
Phone is ex-directory
Registered with both TPS & MPS
Have junk mail filter on e-mails, and simply hit "delete" button daily
If we DO get something with reply paid envelope in it - addressed to "The Occcupier" for example - I put a flyer for the local chinese/indian/chippie in the envelope and send it back. they only pay postage on return of envelope. It must pi** them off to get flyers for carry-out places in Aberdeen when they are in darkest Englandshire. Even if it doesn't bother them, it makes me feel a whole lot happier ! !

If you get an answer to your question, please tell me because junk email is sending me nuts.
I also have outlook and add these buggers to the junk list, but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Re:Mailwasher

I have been using it for a few months as a result of advice on those forums and it really works
All emails now goes into it before it gets in the system and the 'Bounce' function certainly works. I wouldn't have a system on line without it.

Re: Junk mail revenge

I always return everything in the post paid return envelope, including the original outer envelope, folded to fit. If there is room I add some of the other crap that falls out of magazines or through the letterbox.

I've just posted two envelopes filled to bursting point.

Will it do any good?

I doubt it, except t okeep Yorkshire landfill down a bit.
