I do it, why do you ?

[ QUOTE ]
Mobos seem to value time more than sailors

[/ QUOTE ]
Sailing has two aspects - the journey to a place ie the sailing itself, and secondly enjoying the destination. So for the passage to take an equal amount of time as the visit, is a reasonable balance.

For Mobo's, it seems to be more a case of getting from A to B as quickly as possible, then spending much longer time at the location. Moboers seem to use their boat as a static holiday home or weekend cottage more than raggies.

Having swung to both sides (and still do) I like different types of boat for different occasions. Quiet contemplation=Sailing, Lads day out=Sailing then Pub, Family day out =MOBO, family day out with Dad =Sailing/MOBO ++++Pub.

It is difficult to quantify.
