Having shown the new Mrs SeaSpray they joys of boating im getting a little worried !
I now have nets at the windows (not fishing nets ) blankets and things because they look nice..........
All this is ok...ish but im sure she is going to make me finish the boat and when ive done that buy a bigger boat ! And i think shes sussed that maritime law doesnt include NO SHOPPING :O\
Is the boating fun over ?

Dear sir.

Your next boat will certainly be a Broom. As ahem .....the choice of the more mature boater under the thumb of the lady of the house, you have no choice unless it be on the type of net curtains to adorn your windows.

Re: Dear sir.

That's exactly what I told the new Mrs Seaspray at the weekend. Unfortunately, the nets look rather good on Seaspray. The said SWMBO is doing a good job of taming her new charge and may soon warrant a proper meal rather than the kebab she got the first time out!!! /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

You cad sir.....

....how can u criticise Seasprays culinary largesse when I understand you are now prepared to chase him all over the big river if there is a remote chance of sharing one of his breakfast fry-ups?

Having met the lady on 2 (or is it 3 now?) seperate occasions in recent weeks I have to say Jason has not given me the feeling that he was suffering undue stress in her company. Lets face it, a few lace curtains and the odd blanket is hardly moving into the gross flower buckets and smalls hanging from crosstrees territory (and they'd need to be pretty small to hang from his crosstress !!!).

Anyways, any lady that can persuade him to move upriver and away from you and your drinking buddies so soon after making his aquaintance has to have some positive influence for bettering his existence /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

PS - note for Jason - there is a price to pay for me defending you like this.....need some hints and tips on repairing water damaged veneer on my pride and joy!

Re: You cad sir.....

Look, there is no doubting that young Seaspray here can cook the best fry-up on the Thames but Gill cooked it on Sunday and that was brilliant too. There is also no doubting that Gill is sorting him out big time and she loves boating, so that's an enormous plus!! ...and that's even before he completely redesigns the outside of his boat this coming Saturday before lunch. /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif
