As the title of my posts say I am the proud new owner of a Sealine S23, would appreciate contact with other owners in Chichester marina to get any tips and advice. I do have a few questions. Due in chi on Friday from Swanwick weather permitting. I have employed a professional skipper to bring it and I will be accompanying him to include the days tuition, thinking it will be a bit cold !

Join the Sealine Forum - that's the best place for all things Sealine. Congratulations on your new boat. I had a s23 for a number of years and its a very capable boat. I now have moved up to a SC29 to get a bit more space and twin engine installation.

Maybe. Hard pushed to tell those models apart. s25 newer shape I think but still similar? All good boats.
The S23 and S25 are the same boat which is a newer design (S23 was rebadged towards end of production and updated), the S24 (also known as S230 & S240) is an older model. But like you say all good boats and similar in design and size.

Had boats in Chichester Marina 2001-2010. Happy days! For several years our next door neighbour was a Sealine S285 which was well used and seemed to be suited to the area.

Great capable boats in a chop. If perhaps not familiar with their behaviour, in terms of their narrow sleek hull…the unaware might think them a little tippy or sensitive to weight/passenger position or distribution.
If she’s not had a turbo and elbow replacement in her lifetime…she’ll almost certainly require one soon. A4 props are best suited to these, from what I can gather of the 23 and 25’s I’ve been on. Very familiar with the 25 in particular, looking after her engine and mechanical systems over the last few years. Upgrading the engine hatch sealing/insulation has proven to result in a much more pleasant experience in the cockpit.
