Had no major problems with mine, bar it was not comfotable with a sea on the stern quarter, reef early, do not carry a lot of canvas, it does not increase speed. In general it was a nice boat.

Great solid boats. I sailed an H 22 for years....
The makers Hurley sign is still in Plymouth where they made them up river , near mayflower marina opposite the princess factory. 60's and 70's.

While the feedback may be a bit one sided (in a positive direction!), if you're on Farcebook there is an active Hurley owners group where you could speak to some current owners??
