I am replacing the windows on my Horizon 21 and need some of the foam backing seal. It is adhesive black foam sheet. Does anyone know what this seal is and where it can be bought. It looks about 2mm thick but may be thicker before being compressed.

I used a neoprene adehisive strip on my windows 2 years ago and have never had a leak. Look in yellow pages under rubber suppliers. There is also a firm called (I think) seals direct who have been mentioned this last week on this forum. Do a search on "seals direct". I am sure there was a link to their web site. paul

Having had 3 Hunters in a row, I have had excellent service direct from the company.

Suggest you contact Hunters (now Select Yachts) direct and they should be able to tell you what was used in the original build & if they can't supply it where to get it. Contact there is Gill Vigors on 01208 862 666 or by email gv@selectyachts.co.uk
