Hunter Impala

I am considering trading up from a Sonata to an Impala, I know about its qualities as a racing boat but can anyone advise me as to its suitabilityas an offshore cruiser?

Had a friend who had one on the whatsitsmeer in Holland and another with one on Windermere. Seemed fine there on the right days - have a think about the Delta - I had one and it was great.

A friend of mine had an impala, he raced it very successfully in JOG, a couple of years ago it was the only boat to finish the St Malo race and did so in 40 odd knots.

There is still one racing in JOG. There is an impala website I think.
