We owned a Delta 25 for several years (lift keel version) and have since also owned a twin keel (bilge) Hunter 272 - Delta was superb - one of the very best boats we have had - hunter inboard outboard arrangement worked well, lift keel easy to raise and to lock down - sailed beautifully, "normal" Hunter basic finish inside-several still at our old club Orwell YC Ipswich when we last called in.

I've just bought a Delta 25 lift keel myself.
Have copied you a message I received when I asked the forum a similar question.
Try also the DSC web site for general info on the delta. (they have a fleet of delta's.)

When I was (much) younger and did a lot of racing on the North East coast, there was a Hunter Delta there raced by two, sometimes three, guys, who really liked the boat, cruised in comfort and then did very well on the racecourse. Seemed like a really nice boat for it's size, a good balance of 'cruiser-racer'
