Yard has started stripping away the old antifoul back to bare hull and making a verry good job of it. The surface is smooth as a baby's bum ... no nicks or signs of sander. Hull is clear of micro-blisters - absolutely no indications of high moisture at all (stripped area).
Interesting about rudder ... this did show high water content - not unusual especially if foam filled.which for some strange reason can throw meters off ..
The port side has evidence of many possible holes having been then epoxy closed ...
Stbd rudder side :
Port side :
My opinion is that rudder has been drilled - foam filled and closed up.
Rudder also shows its been repaired - possibly had a hit at bottom leading corner ... hinge areas and that corner have different layup and solid ..
Overall so far - pleasantly surprised .... its not often you have a Skipper Meter literally not moving when checking a hull !!
