Can anyone give me advice on cleaning the paintwork on my steel motor cruiser please. The paintwork (white gloss but precise type/manufacture unknow) is in generally good conditin but could probably do with a good clean followed by a wax polish. I can tackle the brown waterline stains in the manner suggested in an earlier thread but what about the rest? I suppose T-Cut is an option but is there anything better? Has anyone used any of the Farecla 'G' products on steel?
Grateful for any advice
ps given the size of the boat, I will almost certainly need to use a mechanical/electrical polisher of some sort.

doesnt matter what the substarte is, whats the paint? Should polish up nicely with ay good wax or silicone polish, if you T cut it, you will need to wax polish it afterwards. no wax in T cut. dont know about the other stuff.

You can remove rust staining from white paint using Domestos or other houshold bleach which I use. There are proprietary gels for cleaning GRP (eg Davis) which also work.

For non white I usually rub doen and gloss over. It'e better by far to locate the source of the streaking and treat that.
