Is there any particular model of HUDL you need to work as a plotter with Navionics? or is there just one model?

As far as I know there is only one model. Mine's one of the early ones.

I have the (very) old version of navionics on my phone with western europe chart when it covered Dover to Canaries this version won't load on to Hudl. But that's 5 years old now I think so time to upgrade.

hudl does have occasional problems acquiring wifi, so I've been advised to keep it 'switched on'.
Any other users experiencing this?
