Hp Question

Yes, I think so too using car info. which must be the same equation.

BMW quote their range as follows:-

Z4/2.2.litre :- 125kw=170hp
325i :- 141kw=192hp
330i :- 170kw=231hp
645 :- 245kw=333hp

The relationship between each model is constant at about 149.6hp

745.7 Watts = 1 HP

Hence 110KW = 148 HP

You need to be sure if the quoted power includes (SHP) or excludes (BHP) transmission losses. Although this is less likely to matter in a boat, than a car.

Thanks Guys

Now this is straight up ... no kidding !!!

110 KW = 440 Donkeys !!!! = 149.558 HP Metric = 147.512 HP 550 = 147.453 HP ELEC = 147.445 HP WTR

Does that help ??

My other computer converter says 110 KW = 147.51 HP ...
