Just watched episode 1, Toms wife is a serious ballbreaker
Careful, she's married to Ken masters in real life..Just watched episode 1, Toms wife is a serious ballbreaker
I watched it first time round and then again as an adult and love it - there are a few Ken Masters on here...
Yarmouth harbour was very different back then.
I believe that they are no longer viable under various rulesSome yachts do actually have a device called a trim tab but it’s and vertically mounted foil on the trailing edge of the keel. It is usually adjustable at the helm and is designed to make the boat sail closer to the wind, upwind.
Some of the old 12 metre Americas Cup boats had them
Thanks to this post, I've started watching Howards Way again. I was a bit young to remember it first time round, but I do always remember the end credits with the Sealine zipping around the yacht.
Anyone know what series these end credits start to appear ?
My mate bought the Sealine in the introduction. Biggest engines possible had been fitted for the show.
I thought he fitted the cast well. They were certainly a mixed bag. The only two that on recent watching that tended to irritate me were Abby and Leo. Abby because she could turn mineral water into sour milk and Leo because for about 4 seasons he seemed to look continually confused and had the backbone of a jellyfish. But he toughened up a bit later. You had to love it a little. All the dramatic exits and self-righteous poses. One critic said of Toms character "He had all the animation of a plank" and thank god no one has mentioned Triangle !!!!
Drama is 20 on my Freeview on one set but not available on other sets in the house. On my Sky box it's on the "Drama" channel.
The same channel might be available on other platforms.
Picture quality is not great on a large screen TV.

Forces TV coms in and out like a YoYo.Try re-scanning freeview if not available on a set.
Note that the re-scanning process can sometimes drop a weak channel as well as finding new ones!
They were all hammered then!Pretty much every Sealine 285 Ambassador ever sold in the last 30 years was 'the one from the Howards' Way intro'.![]()
Must be on the Mobo forum - I saw the credits of some great shots of a Barracuda 45 yacht sailing well, then some little motorboat goes and crosses dangerously close ahead near the endThanks to this post, I've started watching Howards Way again.
