last winter the long block from one engine has been replaced, under warranty, basically due to damage caused by replacing a badly corroded fuel injector.
Now a few moths later, the other engineblock is also going to be replaced,
also here the corrosion of the metal fuel injectors in the aluminium engine block is a major problem, so they will probably place new injectors.
Soon I will have 2 almost new engines

what does the forum think is a good way to avoid corrosion on these engines/injectors ?
I have to admid that salt water was sprayed on these engines on a few occasions.
would a coating with WD40 and regular rinsing with fresh water be an improvement ?
any other sugestions ?
