How to attach an image to my forum post.

Elton's succint post could perhaps have said a little more, but probably covers it as the question comes up regularly. Very briefly, sign up to a photo hosting site such as Photobucket. Load your pic there, then use the links provided to paste it into your post on the forum.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO

Please do not do the above.

This leads to people post large uncompressed images and those of us who are on slow wifi connections at anchor in less developed countries where broadband is only a dream suffer.

It may take half an hour to load one pic. basically it locks us out from that thread.

Please use the built in image loader. it has been improved and works well and automates thumbnaisl.

But the storage space is too small. 24 pictures, and some of them quite small, have nearly filled mine.

If I delete any to make way for more the pictures will be lost from the posts they were uploaded for.

Surely you can turn off photographs in your browser to overcome this possible problem? We used to do this but nowadays, even on 'slow wifi connections at anchor' it is rarely a problem.
