How the heck do I get antifoul to stick to the prop?

Use wet and dry paper rather than standard abrasiver papers. The latter can be oily whereas w&d are not. I use 180 grit dry. The primer on my Bruntons is now five years old, I abrade the Velox off each year and put two fresh coats on the old primer.

You might consider using a commercial water based degreasing agent as a final finish (with plenty of rinses) before priming
