I read something online that said the fuel hose should change around 10 to 15 years regardless of condition. That makes me think of changing all the fuel hoses in my boat as they are 28 years old even though they still look okay. What do you think?

I have just changed mine. A few were 20 years old and two were 30. All in very good condition on removal. I changed them for peace of mind.

The last time I had an airlock problem on my port engine. I couldn't find any crack or leaking or any wet on the hoses and connectors. But the problem was solved by just replacing the hoses from the distribution valve to the pre-filter and the pre-filter to the engine.

This time the same thing happened again to my starboard engine now. So I think it's time to spend a day replacing every single fuel hose.

The line to my generator failed at 14 years, then the starboard engine line failed at 15 and ended up with quite a bit of diesel in the bilge.
