How old are you?

This is a poll that used to run on the forum every couple of years. Tonight my wife was asking what I thought the average boat owner age was and I said there used to be polls about it but I don’t know these days. So, an interesting review of our hobby maybe. Have there been more young entrants with the uptake of stay at home boating following covid?

im assuming respondents will be skippers (owners) but as long as you’re sailing I think your answer is relevant.

I haven’t- well I suppose strictly I have- but most long time posters are owners, voting is optional (if you don’t feel you should vote if you’re not an owner) and I’m interested in the age of the community generally and don’t want to exclude non-owners.

Why not have a click for owner/ sailor at the start, then you could differentiate. This would be interesting to see how it was formed. One might get an idea at what age people changed from being just sailors, to their poorer counter parts- the owners
