How often do you change yours?

We have changed boats twice in the last two years and are thinking about another change this year. People have suggested this is some sort of record......

Would anyone be able to beat that????????

I think I can as I've actually just done the 3rd deal....

Bought my first Broom 34 (12months old) in March 2000, bought a new Broom 38 in 2002 and just taken delivery of a new Broom 42.

I got the money I paid back on the first 2 boats when trading up. So no depreciation --- yet!

Nah, a mere youngster. I'm on my 10th boat in 14yrs - 1 x Searay, 3 x Sealines, 2 x Fairlines, 2 x Princesses, 1 x Broom and, currently, 1 x Azimut which will probably last until end of this season

It was basically the same boat as the current 35cl but in 2000/2001 they went to the teadrop windows and redesignated it the 35 (and increased the price)

Marlene wanted a proper "climb on" bed, and I have never got to grips with the shaft drives. New boat has the same engines as the 330 (KAD300) and although it weighs 2 tonne more, with the outdrives it goes 15 knots faster, and there is a reduction in revs at 25 knot cruise from 3200 to 2100 RPM. It also needs no help to get it on the plane when fully loaded.
I know most people say that shafts "are better", and easier to manouver, but not in my case, so it is back to the outdrives for me.
