He can't tell what it's worth to him without knowing how much other ways of acquiring a Centaur would cost him.
That isn't the advice he's going to get though. I don't see one post that says "I paid £xxxx for one earlier this year in the same condition". All he's getting is personal opinion from people who probably wouldn't want one at any price.
I think the OP seems to be fully aware that the deal breaker one way or the other is the engine. If it's knackered then the boat is pretty much worthless, because for small boats the price of a new diesel engine is comparable to the value of a good conditioned boat. You might put a new engine in a much loved boat that you've owned for twenty years, but you wouldn't want to put one in a boat you just bought!
