How much to service change bellows on Volvo DPH?

Actually you don’t in What was European directive . Any company as long as they are competent and vat registered using genuine parts and adhering to the correct schedule can carry out service work with factory warranty still covering the product .
You are correct RK marine are no longer VP approved dealer .
Ah is that true? Did not know that. I thought only VP dealers had Vodia and access to the online service registry...?

Well based on my main agent for the two, the singleto n price is about 500 quid!
Sadly it doesn’t work like that .
look at the scenario of single unit servicing , engineer has to drive to marina , book in , take trolley to boat or hard standing site , carry out work . If two drives are serviced the company makes more money on the supply of parts and labour , the price cannot be half for one drive .
same applies to single engine boats especially yachts ,I’ve always wondered why small yacht engines are so expensive to service , the reason relates to productivity.
Same engineer can make more from a pair of engines or drives than a single unit .
I am still after 30 odd years gobsmacked at dealer pricing menu .

The clyde is the new Solent Paul, I have people telling me constantly they can't get an engineer.
Did a full service on a D4/260 in an NC9 , what a lovely boat and the job was so easy .
went back yesterday to service the drive , again a nice job plus it required a steer indicator cable which on a twin is a job on its own ,this was a peach and it required the cable tube removing from the shield but as it was a single there was plenty of room .
Kenny , I’d be interested to hear what model of boat you have .

Yea same as the trim hoses on these dph drives, they can be an absolute pig of a job on some boats.

I’ve a Jeanneau Prestige 30S (the predecessor to the NC9) with a single D4-260.

Ouch, I feel everyone's pain on pricing!

I knew sterndrives were expensive but not that much.

I'll stick to an outboard powered boat up to, say, 25 ft. Over that I guess it's diesel on shafts.

I can buy a lot of fuel for the difference in servicing costs.....
