How much time should you leave between layers of vinylprimer?

I have painted over naked spots on hull and keel with Jotun vinygard 88. It is supposed to be a professional primer. Plan to do a second layer before applying anti fouling. Temperature is just above 0 C. Any pointers on how much time one should wait between layers?

A boat, your house...a car, even a shoddy fence.... you're asking for an awful lot of the coating/s if applied (and expected to dry) at or around 0 deg to actually do their job,"professional" is not a term that springs to mind here
Often forgotten is the substrate (in this case your boat)rather than ambient temp...if its freezing air temp how cold is the boat? Might be a while or time to get out the heat gun

Yeah... Guesswork. There is blowing gale force winds, you would think that would speed up the drying/curing process?

Boat is outside at 69 degree north, so I dont think a heatgun is going to have a lot of impact :) Unless you have one of those diesel fueled cannons maybe!

The curing process is a chemical reaction, not the evaporation of a solvent, so the wind will make little difference. Because it's a chemical reaction, it is, of course, very sensitive to temperature.
Seriously, at that latitude, you can really only do that job outdoors at the height of summer! And note that the temperature dependence of chemical reactions is very non-linear; the rate difference between 5°C and 0°C will be substantial

Oh lord. Thank you for chiming in :)

I have been away on some other boat all summer. So this was my only chance if I were to have anything done before winter. Next year we will see if it worked out okay or not :)
