The descriptions I am getting match up with my present experience.
In April with grey clouds and not much UV solar really struggled to keep up with fridge and plotter.
Now I in May have few concerns, will be interesting how much I get from solar on grey days in the summer now the sun has a bit more ump to it.

That is with 2 solar 100w panels vertically mounted one pointing north on home mooring.
Current draw fridge 1 amp, electronics 2-3 amps.

Interestingly Renology now do bi facial solar panels. Claiming 30% more efficiency when vertically mounted.

Over the winter, I was using a 20W panel to keep the batteries topped up and to cover some power used when working on the boat.
On a good day, I think I got about 40Wh, with the panel angled as best I could. It's a fore and aft mooring, I can make the panel face the right way, but the landscape means there's a lot of shading apart from about 1pm to 3pm in Winter.
On a dull day, maybe 5Wh.
