How much heating

The boat is Staying afloat this winter. I've had a 240v mains oil filled radiator in the cabin for about two weeks, it takes off the chill but will it be enough to keep out the frost? Anyone got a measure for this, or ideas for frost protection? (The boat is a Jeanneau 37)

That should be more than adequate. I have mine set (greenhouse heater) to switch on at 5° .

If you have not got one, go to your local hardware/Garden store and get a Max/Min Thermometer. Then you can see what temperatures the more remote (engine) parts of the boat achieve.
