Ours are looking pretty worn. Has anyone replaced theirs recently and happy with the work done?

Any recommendations gratefully received

Cheers

Would also endorse Tecsew who made our cockpit enclosure and came down to measiure etc - they have a useful website showing examples. As to cost it would be influenced to a degree as to whether you have separate removable panels with zips and things like that and of course size of the aforesaid "small" flybridge but you might find your class of vessel on the website . Clearly if the OP is based in West Midlands you might however prefer to select a more local supplier if the vessel is in a similar location .

The boat is at Swanwick on the Hamble. No removable panels, just remove the sides and roll up the back when underway

Tecsew are often in Swanwick as the do all the canvas work for new Bavarias and Jeanneaus which are commissioned there.

You left Eastlands ?

No Paul still there, just used Swanwick in a geographical sense. It's far too noisy, busy and expensive for us at Swanwick marina. Happy to sit on the boat and watch the Teal, Lapwings, Oystercatchers, Redshanks, Curlews and others in peace at Eastlands.

Had my Broom flybridge done just days before it finally sold.
Last panel fitted the day before it left !
Consisted of 7 zipped panels with windows in a very very basic dark blue Vinyl.
Work carried out and fitted by a chap who does it on part time basis.
Total cost arround £1000.00.
Was not looking for a super luxury job just something waterproof and presentable.

JB (07775 594949) has done three boats for us. All full canopies with steel work.

Allow time and stand your ground if you want something specific. But his knowledge of fabric engineering is hugely impressive and our canopies have been very robust and shaped to the contours of the boats.

I had no joy with Tecsew but perhaps I caught him on a bad day.

Garold

Ps. He lives near Universal so convenient anywhere on the Hamble.

+1 Excellent service and price, mine was fitted a few years ago and no problems at all. Tried others but were all more expensive. The downside he is very busy so it takes quite some time to complete.
