How much for a spray hood /cockpit cover?

I paid around £2200 for replacement spray hood, cockpit tent, stack pack and dodgers. A lot of time went into the bespoke design. Lots of roll up doors and plenty of zip work!

I personally like your set-up. Questions: when you remove cockpit cover does it leave the exposed zip edge on the sprayhood edge? Can you store the metalwork for this cover when sailing?
For the amount of work involved I think the price is right!

If needed, all the port and starboard will roll up or zip them off. The back rolls up in 3 sections or remove completely.
When sailing, the cockpit roof rolls up and zips as in photo.

My Oyster 39 has a nicely designed canvas spray hood with a cockpit cover. The stitching is failing, it has stretched and now it has been a victim of the storm. I have a quote for £1500 for a replacement. Is that reasonable?View attachment 39028

very reasonable if that includes steel work, I had mine done from scratch, spray hood and cockpit cover, all steel and fittings for the same price. All done by Aquafax in Carrickfergus, for yours probably cheaper as they would copy your original cover.

My sprayhood shrunk a bit, the stiching was woren away in places and the window was misted up, but I still managed to sew in new plastic windows for around 50 quid as the material was still in good codition.
If the matrial is still in good condition, but stretched a little, you could trim it a bit and resew it.
