How many forumers have had their diesel cars checked for red diesel?

Dont need to be dipped, EGA at the traffic lights or wherever, only takes a minute, not worth it,

A friend does this amongst other tasks, the general penalty for a first time offence is a fine of £250 for using a vehicle with (in this instance red) and a further £250 payable by the owner for permitting/allowing the above,

If you have an attitude then the option is to sieze it and dispose of it,

Just not worth it really

Never been checked, and had Diesel cars for maybe 15 years as well. Two at the moment.

The garage where we bought Red this winter doesn't record any customer details, or ask questions about the use or anything. They said there's no need for sales of less than 100 litres. I was expecting a bit more bureaucracy.

SWMBOs have had diesel cars since 1993. Never been checked. Living in a city or close to I guess there's no assumption of liklihood, despite the wide availability at local marinas.
