But...at 100 mph, i saw that the gas turbine boats use 500 litres per hour. Which is also 5 litres per mile, just over 3litres per mile...and not bad. Easily the cheapest is to go at zero knots, though I find that the chandlery and bar bills rather knock out the saving in diesel....
