As a recent owner of a Rodman I was looking at their website yesterday. As well as making leisure boats they make quite a variety of military/police type boats. (unfortunately they won't sell you one with guns on the foredeck)
I also noticed that Rodman have made over 13,000 boats so far. That struck me as a lot in 40 years

how does that compare with other builders?

I believe Fairline are up in the 20,000 region (50 years).

Yeh but how many are still running ?

Think Fords / Vauxhall’s and Ferrari / Landrover
A more useful stat imho would be what % are still running or in boat terms I guess still floating / worthwhile restoring ?

What are you inferring with Bayliners Zillions of boats ?

To return to the OP's question, if I may ... my boat is a Princess and they have a Heritage website showing basic stats about models, eg length, draught, air clearance and number of years in manufacture. I'm interested to know how many of my model (P40 Flybridge) were built, but this info is not up there. Does anyone have any info?

Approximately 40 per year

For Princess it is probably in excess of 20,000 boats in total, over 50 odd years. That is if you ignore the name change from Marine Projects and include the saily yachts they used to produce. They built most Moodys for example and (I think) all of the Sigma range.
