I don’t think refuelled is trying to work out his expected consumption to the nearest mL - he just wants to check that he’s not going to be burning ridiculous amounts of euros to go on a plod along the river.

Exactly ...

I am burning average 15lts /hr gasoline in my present 24 .... (VP B30 170) If I push the throttle above cruising - it goes up until it hits max at about 25 - 28lts/hr.

It has Duoprop - which I'm not too keen on ...

Looking round her and what little I can of inside without climbing up ... she's just in need of a good sand .. polish and clean up.

But talking to HM - who has no connection or interest in the boat ... he said the owner is not in such good health and has moved to Mediterranean and is just wanting to sell on ... as fas HM knows - the boat is good and all works.

If price can be lowered enough to cover any faults - then I may follow up ...

He says he has contact with seller and will try pass me details.
