9hrs on a TS240 ?????

Similar sized boat .... took 2hrs to remove sails / boom ... drop mast with A-frame .....further 1 hour chatting and disconnecting stays / shrouds - moving mast to balance ready for transporter.

To raise and setup to sail again .....

About 1hour to put mast back ready to 'pin' the foot and have aft stays connected .. A frame in place.

Then about 3 hours to raise and setup.

It's all pure speculation in the absence of knowing exactly what the rigger was faced with when he/she arrived.
And comparison with an experienced owner doing a repeat iteration may be meaningless if the boat had not been derigged neatly.
There may have been issues with standing and or running rigging not ready to go, unlabelelled or possibly even parts missing.
We have no idea how much of a ready state or complete jumble of bits was found.
Hopefully now done will be quicker on future. Take loads of photos to remind you how it all fits together
