If you want a 'typical' med boat it should be pretty straightforward to find one but with 2 weeks maybe not enough time to haggle + find the right one (a lot will havehad ssome form of abuse if not owned by responsible owner) . We were looking for a few models specifically Northern European built and it took us 9 months all in all to find the one (starlight 35 - couldn't be happier) . UK paper works and registration will make your life much easier as mentioned. Nationality of owner is by the by, you will quickly establish whether the boat was looked after. Ours was Italian owned but looked after well. We used a British Malta based surveyor John Ross who was thorough and reliable. Good luck!
