How "flexible" is copper fuel pipe?

@prv

Fair point re the professional repair- I guess as a non-professional, to me the original work carried out seemed to resolve the problem, but I can readily see that returning the situation to the original type fittings is probably better.

Later post says the pipe benders for the job are pretty cheap so may go for one of those if I can locate something suitable on Ebay. Lots of references to annealing the copper- does this need to be done whether hand bending or using a spring or whatever? I have a butane gas soldering iron or a small camping gaz stove or the old Vanessa onboard, so presume one of these would be sufficient?

I did a fair bit of Bacteriology, amongst other things, during my first degree & after, but no metallurgy whatsoever! Nor Russian. Dosvedanya.

For what it's worth, I didn't use any heat to make my manifold. However that was in brand new tube. I don't know whether copper that hasn't been bent but has been in use a while would become work-hardened from vibration or whatever. I'm sure the metallurgical experts can tell us :-)

No expert, but yes.
