.....get rid of those confounded grey sqaure adverts that keep coming in thick and fast whilst on the net?? They arrive virtually every minute, and the most annoying and regular one advertises some kind of screening along the lines of "Are you fed up with all these pop up adverts??", and promises a cure etc etc.

Is this the only way of getting rid of the cursed things - any computer guru's out there to proffer help?

do a google search for spybot - let it download and run it - you'll scare yerself watching all the registry changes that have been made!

Since I installed my I have not had any more problems. Have you updated it? They seem to release new definition files just about every week.

Nicho. I was driven mad by popups till I downloaded 'Popup Stopper' at www.panicware.com since when I have never seen another. Your welcome.

I downloaded Ad Ware, but this seemed to have little effect, though it did clear off 6 suspect files. However, the PopUpStopper is brilliant, kills them all dead. Thanks for the info
