Haslemere - we have 14 inches on the flat. Never seen anything like it! Have photograhpic evidence at hand please!!!! my batteries flat so I can't get it off the camera yet.

10" in Petersfield. Not much movement on the A3 outside my office window, but loads of abandoned cars. I think that I'll take the afternoon off to paint my boat which is tucked-up indoors in a barn at home. Shanks's pony is the only form of transport.

About 1"-2" in Southampton, although it's been snowing like buggery for a couple of hours, easing off now. More like 4" at home in Eastleigh and I'm told it's deeper only a few miles to the east or north of there.

10 miles north of Worthing, now 7-8" and still falling. On the road a LOT of slush underneath, might be rather difficult tonight and tomorrow if we have to drive anywhere. Eerily quiet, usually can hear the A24 traffic from 06:00 to about midnight..............very quiet. Fortunately Co-op nearby, so shouldn't run out of vittles. I'm tempted to practice some snow driving as I haven't done any (proper) snow driving for a few years, SWMBO has veto'd the idea. I do feel that the time to practice rusty skills is when you can, NOT when you need to. I invite the panels' views.

Started snowing heavily again! bah - just cleared the drive - but no where to go beyond that, unless I do the whole road. Off tobogoning this after noon, not done that for years!

Coming down great guns here in Christchurch. Rainfall radar says it's passing through now though.

Could get a centimeter or so.

Same in Frensham, even if we could get out with 4 x 4 there seems to be lots of trees and branches down with the weight of snow..............guess it will be power cuts next.........had enough of this already, roll on summer

About 6 inches here in SE Wales. But worse still it will again be minus 6 or 8 tonight with more snow falling. So I cant see us getting out before the weekend

Snowed in

One of our local roads has a tree across it and the rest are impassable so went walking to take in the sights as haven't seen this much snow outside of Austria, isn't it pretty, totally useless but pretty.

Reckon we must be getting towards 16inches and still falling.
