Indeed.

I hadn't realised until recently that some of these Superyachts have Philippino crews, I wonder if they're from a merchant shipping background?

Is it possible that the skipper realised he had a control system malfunction and deliberately hit the sail boat to minimise damage to the Superyacht? Could easily have killed somebody and makes that Superyacht Captain incident look rather trivial.
