insurance should be least of your worries. They simply insure you for the boat you are running. Marine legistlation has all sorts of hiccups that insurers may not be even aware of, or draw you attention to.

Put your points into a bullet type approach, and people can comment on them one by one.

I know the 200grt is used as a limit for a commercial yachtmaster, but for private use I am not sure there is a limit.
