Enforcement proceedings have been issued by Medway Council to remove the vessel, the piles and any associated landing stages etc . Subject to appeal.
One can only further hope that the company that drove the piles is prosecuted and has to remove them at its own expence.

A remarkably quick response, if only the same could have beeen said about Tovil and Halling.

The military precision with which this was undertaken could lead one to suspect this is not a first time operation.
Simply finding the only bit of river bank on the entire Medway with a ready laid 240 V mains supply was masterly.
Finding a company prepared to disregard any rules and regulations and prepared to drive those piles, would have come from a choice of one.
