I am considering buying a Horizon 43 ( 1972 ) as a winter project . can anyone supply any information regarding this model ..where can I obtain reports and general info please .(new to this forum site)
Depending on which engines are fitted she will do 11 - 18 knots. Smallest fitted were 150 hp largest 250hp. Horizons have a round bilge hull with a knuckle and chine forward. They are good sea boats and as I remember they were particularly good in a following sea.
Thanks for the prompt reply" Byron" But need lots more info . Any Boat reports in any mags that I can obtain .. Copy Shop etc. This site shows I available but unable to down load. Your info on engs and speed usful my knowledge so far
Detroit diesels BIG burgers more info when I scrutinize boat futher this Sunday.
I don't think you can download boat reports from the site, I think you have to buy them at about £2.50p each. Howver! something for Kim to consider, buyng a boat report by credit card over the net then downloading it. Mind you for what they charge there wouldn't be any profit in it after converting everything to a .PDF format. Which opens up another can of worms, people here don't even have ICQ so getting them to get a free copy of Adobe Acrobat to open .PDF files would generate more work - 2nd thoughts, forget it Kim, I have shares in IPC and don't want major losses
