Hi all

Does anyone know what these round plastic clips on my sprayhood are called, and where I can get a replacement? There is a two pronged fork peice that slides into the side to hold it on.

There are hundreds of different types of clIps/eyes/grommets.

How are you meant to find direct replacements for ones that break.

Doesn't seem to be a marking indicating the make or type.

Mine are 22mm diameter, and have a pronged clip that pushes in from the side to lock it onto its stud

Looks closer, but mine have a clip that slides in from the side

I think Captainboo got it right. Menax snap fasteners.

It looks like Baseline have just spelt them slightly differently... (and called the brand Minax).. but they supply the items individually.

A sailmaker who also do sprayhoods, biminis etc usually have all sorts of fittings and fixtures.
Kemp sails are near me. I have yet to find a needed unusual part they do not have in stock.

Looks like all the European suppliers call them Minax..
