Hello all,

I popped down to our boat over Easter to do a couple of jobs (before the cold sent me home!), and I was surprised to see the number of empty berths in the Hoo basin.

Given the temperatures and easterly winds, I can't believe that everyone was out sailing (but maybe I'm just a wuss...), but nearly all the berths around mine were empty.

Even over the winter (the official winter that is) nearly every space was taken. So is this anything to do with the change of management I wonder? Does anyone have any news?

Last seen heading for the warmth of the Antarctic.:)

One of our club members who berthed in Hoo has decided to exit the place and go elsewhere, did hear some scuttlebutt about why he left, but he had been always been moaning about tidal window

Having previousely had dealings with the management, albeit only as a visitor, I'd be heading for somewhere else as soon as possible. Not a very pleasant management team in my family's experience (b-I-l had a houseboat there for a couple of years before things turned nasty).
