Honestly - it wasn\'t me.
Just got an email from a mate, really it was not me, I've already told you the "stupidest thing I ever did"....

I'm putting a new radiator up in the front room and wanted to used those
nice solder joints instead of the bulky compression joints. So bought a new
blowtorch, big thing with its own igniter built in. Couldn't wait to use it
so fired it up and did a couple of test joints, so far so good. Flame on new
blow torch is rather long and big , which is why I managed to wave my
dressing gown sleeve in front of it. The dressing gown appears to have a
highly combustible 'fluff' layer all over it and a fiery wave front spread
from the arm to the rest of the gown quicker than I could pat it out.
Thankfully dressing gown flash fires appear to be entirely survivable, but
unlike me you need to remember to shut the curtains before you fling your
smoldering dressing gown across the room.
