Broken backed, hogged, past its best. Been left on the trailer with the skeg unsupported, as can be seen. I stayed for ten minutes out of politeness.
Banning two-strokes was the worst thing that happened to small outboards. They’re the best thing to happen to small outboards since the banning of two strokes.
Hi. How old was the fuel in it? And yes you will need to remove to clean it properly.Mine started over winter fine but yesterday barely ran for more than 5 secs total. Plenty of spark so I presume jet blocked? Do I have to take the carb off to unblock or is there a secret technique?
Wear ear muffs.2.3 hp, any comments? many about? Not come across many aircooled outboards. ......noisy presumably.

Heavy???? 12kgs?Hated mine. Heavy, noisy, overly complicated, have to be careful which side to lay it down and could be a pain to start. And don’t get me started on the quality of the bolts used to hold it all together! Love my little 2 stroke Yamaha though.
All academic for me, boat I was only interested in no good so no deal, the o/b was incidental, as above, obs older/more used than stated.
I can't figure out why someone tells you a tale convinced that if you only come to see you will buy, if the boat was even nearly as described I might have taken a punt, but vendor in fantasy land. Boat not worth a light, unless soaked in petrol first. 110 miles round trip for nothing.

Fuel probably in for 6 months or more - thought there was only a bit more than dampness left, so it has been floating off somewhere. I have just removed the carb and used my compressor to blow air through the main jet. Put it all together and no difference. Do I need to take the jet out and
You also need to clean the pilot jet and transition ports inside the carb as well as needle valve and seat.Fuel probably in for 6 months or more - thought there was only a bit more than dampness left, so it has been floating off somewhere.
