+1 Took the family (9 pax) and decided on various tapas to share for starters, then Chateau Briand as main for all. Very good indeed, staff was very nice and friendly too.

Cost was fair, value was excellent. Thank you for recommending

In Mallorca at the mo looking at loads of boats. The rentals are in my view too expensive when you are just 2 people and yes rather than reduce their prices they are all just sitting there on the mooring

Just been to Colonia De Sant Pere a nice marina bit of a short slipway though. Some nice boats moored up. The sun over here seems to take it out of the gell coat far worse than in the UK

Yup dont buy a boat with a coloured hull in Majorca or anywhere else in the Med

When in Alcudia we looked up the alleged Michael Schumacher boat 'Smooth Operator'. That surely is something, with a pair of jetskis and a jetdriven speedboat in the garage.

Yes the tour buses tell the customers it's Michaels in reality it's owned by a German guy who's in telecoms It had a Scottish guy who was skipper for a long time but I think the present skipper is Canadian

There are plenty of lovely places in and around the port.

The Posidonia on the road towards the ferry terminal on the left
The best Tapas is ramon,s. just down the street from the dulcinea
A short taxi ride away the blue sapphire just opened this season and superb
And c,an cuarassa a restaurant on the road between Alcudia and Pollenca just check out the website it's a stunning setting and food that makes the much raved about meson dulcinea feel like mc Donald's ��
