By all accounts there will be a "no-fly" zone around Portsmouth Harbour on the day of arrival and any drones entering the restricted area will be given a 'return to owner' instruction by the Navy - this can cause drones to drop to the ground (or into the 'oggin!).

I guess 0700 may be before prime traffic. Anyway, a very early start to get to Southsea or old Portsmouth. I may loose the will to do it, we shall see.

I would guess they see this entry as nothing more than a merchant ship heading into Portsmouth as she is not yet handed over to the Royal Navy and has no kit onboard to speak of.
But I think they underestimate the interest. Maybe I will be proved wrong.

I don't think the general public is very interested but Pompey being a naval stronge hold interest will be acute. Be interested to see how many attend.

I read a report that the carrier cannot arrive or leave Portsmouth in more than 20 knots of wind, which means it's likely to be stuck there for much of the winter.
