KAD32 with Duo prop outdrive,
with an overhead beam and block and tackle available, open cockpit ( engine cover removed) so what do you think the timescale is to remove the engine? are there any stumbling blocks to lifting out a KAD32?
cant seem to find any detailed instruction re removal in the manual

i have removed and fitted several auto engines over the years, but for some reason the prospect of removing my boat engine is making me nervous.

anybody available for some guidance? regards Bill

Firstly what boat is it in? as some of the small sealines engine bays are not long enough to remove the engine without turning through 90 degrees, and to do that you have to remove certain items to narrow the engine like intercoolers etc.

If using overhead gantry it needs to be quite high, I presume the boats on a trailer so you can lift up engine and pull boat forward out of the way to drop engine on the floor.

Why does the engine need to come out?

Engine is in a sunseeker mexico 24, plenty of engine bay room, yes on a trailer with RSJ 17 ft above, i am removing the engine so that it can be fitted in to my relcraft.
