I’m venturing on my first short trip out of oare creek tomorrow ((Friday 14 June) since my arrival a couple of weeks ago, but can’t figure out the exact time of high tide. I have read it’s Dover + 120 which gives 1108 BST. But then I see the time of high tide in Faversham is 1042, which seems inconsistent. I’m planning on leaving for a short 2 hour round trip., planning on leaving at 1000.

It pretty much equates to the time of HW at Chatham. If you are moored with Youngboats, at the head of the creek, Terry has tide table booklets for Chatham. On Friday it's 1109.
Sheerness, nearest standard port, is a good approximation.
Having said that, it can very occasionally be a lot different to what's predicted, depending on the weather and affected by the topography of the Swale.
You'll probably find the tide goes out of the creek quicker than it comes in, so beware.
I trust you have studied the route of the gutway in the creek, it wanders a bit.
I kept a boat there for nearly 20 years, loved the place.

Can only get as close as Whitstable approaches (HT 1110 on 14/6) or Grovehurst Jetty (HT 1100 14/6) Oare Creek is right between these points

data from Imray Tides planner btw
edited again as I was an idiot and reading from the wrong date! Data now accurate I believe!

Thanks for your help, its very useful.

I am moored at Youngboats.

Sailed round from Chichester with no problem at all then ran aground 30 metres from my mooring. Fortunately on a rising tide so no harm done, but made me realise I need to be very precise about timing.
