Sorry…I promised this information a few weeks back…..too windy to get to the boat until recently.
Numbers on the blade of the High-thrust prop for Yamaha 9.9 hp 4-stroke:
"Eleven and Three-quarters x Nine and One-quarter - R" The first number (I think) is the propeller diameter and the other is pitch which is the theoretical distance travelled in one revolution (all inches). R is presumably the direction of rotation (seen from behind).

I understand that this years 9.9 high thrust has been revised by Yamaha and is actually the old 15 hp block de-tuned. It is therefore quite a lot heavier than the older model, but presumably has more torque.

I have a 9.9 high thrust series A engine. My yammy dealer back in Inverness said he could up it to a 15, well for engines after A series anyway. The lump I have got weighs about 52 kgs so she certainly is pretty heavy.

sounds like you have one of the "new" ones. Be interesting to see what the impact on fuel consumption would be? You would certainly have more oomph for pushing against the wind!
